DIRECTIONS
Specific Cleaning: Tanks
For removal of light rust and scale in pipework/tanks, recirculate a solution of 5-10%.
For discoloration of stainless steel and epoxy coated tanks, recirculate a solution of 5-10%.
For removal of white-like/lime residues from epoxy coatings that can remain after carrying Stearin, Olein, Palm fatty acid etc., recirculate or inject at a concentration of 5-10% in water and continue until residues are satisfactorily removed.
General Cleaning: All Types
Prior to use all surfaces to be treated or cleaned must be free from oil and grease. Contact [email protected] for advice.
Any heavy rust deposits or flaking paint must be removed using a wire brush or high pressure spray (if suitable).
Into a clean plastic bucket, add acid to water (never the reverse). For light to moderate deposits, including rust stains on painted surfaces, you may dilute with water at a concentration of 20%. For severe deposits product may be used neat up to a 50% dilution with water.
Allow product to penetrate for 15-30 minutes depending on severity.
For use with aluminum parts, use a 10-20% dilution with water for a maximum application time of 5 minutes. We recommend testing on a small area/part first for suitability and time necessary to achieve a satisfactory result.
The treated surface should then be flushed with plenty of fresh water to prevent the product from drying as this may leave a powdered deposit on the metal surface.
